Scope of Work:

The project involves the construction of a new 45 pad pre-cast concrete launch ramp including demolition of the existing pre-cast launch ramp. It also includes various repairs at the Sigurdsson Island harbour site including timber fender installation, ladder installation and timber cribwork repair.

July 15, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Fisheries and Oceans Canada are considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
