Josephine Cone Mine Project

Please note that the Josephine Cone Mine Project was terminated at the request of the proponent, and was then restarted under a new name, Bending Lake Iron Project (80181).

The proposed project consists of the construction, operation, decommissioning and abandonment of an open-pit iron ore mine with an ore production capacity of 56 000 tonnes per day and a metal mill with an ore input capacity of 56 000 tonnes per day (the Project), located approximately 49 kilometres southwest of Ignace, Ontario.

Please note that the proponent was formerly known as Bending Lake Iron Group.
