Lac Seul First Nation - Lot Servicing Project

Lac Seul First Nation proposed this project to clear, service and prepare 15 lots to accommodate future houses. Each lot are planned to be ~186 m² within the community. Physical activities include earth works related to site preparation and clearing, drainage, driveway/culvert, service extensions, and hydro connection.

06 January 2026 - The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause adverse environmental effects.

November 28, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until December 28, 2025 respecting the determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.
