Replacement of navigation aid structures - Baie-Johan-Beetz

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) plans to replace the two structures in the Baie-Johan-Beetz alignment. The two navigation aid structures, namely the front light (FL)(LF 1583) and the rear light (RL)(LF 1584) are located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River in the municipality of Baie-Johan-Beetz on the Lower North Shore.

This work will make it possible to maintain the integrity of the navigation aid services that these lights provide to ships navigating in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. These are in fact in a state of deterioration.
