Development of a service area at the Kegaska fishing harbour - Côte-Nord

The Kegaska harbour is a key hub for commercial activities, including passenger and cargo transit. Its Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) unloading dock and the Transport Canada pier are heavily used, but the lack of parking space disrupts operations for both fishermen and maritime transport services.

To address this issue, the project will develop designated parking and operational areas for port stakeholders. Barriers will be installed to secure and delineate public and commercial spaces. A specific access point will be maintained for boat launching to ensure smooth coexistence with the local community.
