Completion work by the BCNHST, to bring the new transfer facilities for hydrocarbons up to standard - Tête-à-la-Baleine Wharf

Following the temporary decommissioning of the petroleum product unloading facilities at the Tête-à la Baleine wharf in June 2019, the Moyenne and Basse Côte Nord hydrocarbon supply trust wishes to complete the decommissioning of its old facilities and complete the upgrading of new petroleum product transshipment facilities at the wharf of Tête-à-la-Baleine. The structural elements in the wharf will be cleaned, such as the valve pit, the drainage system, the gutter, etc. Physical structures (eg pipeline supports) will also be removed at various places along the installations and the valve pit will be concreted definitively. Finally the company will also dismantle the pipeline sections in the section under the wharf access road. Completion of standardization will be achieved by the construction of a retention basin at the location of the new nozzle, including adequate protective structures and a protective cover.
