Consolidation of the small fishermen's wharf - Blanc-Sablon, Côte-Nord

The small fishers's wharf of Blanc Sablon is a work whose access has been closed for several years. It is a wharf that has a 45 m long approach and two 18 m sections of timber. The effect of waves and ice have badly damaged the end of the wooden cribs. It has become a priority to intervene on this site because of the detached cashing parts that can represent a danger for navigation. The presence of the structure is still required to provide adequate wave protection for users of the boat launch located near the structure.

The project consists of partially demolishing the upper part of the quay and carrying out its riprap. About 3500 m³ of stone will be used to consolidate the old structure.
