Miawpukek First Nation Water Treatment Plant Expansion

The project includes the expansion of the existing water treatment plant with the addition of office space, restrooms, chemical storage including secondary containment, and 190 m of new fencing around the perimeter of the facilty encompassing 2,250 m2.

Activities include site preparation, excavation for installation of new septic holding tank and building footings.


Latest update

July 7, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
