Webequie First Nation - Nursing Station Bulk Fuel Storage Upgrades
This is a non-designated project on federal lands or outside Canada. The listed authorities are responsible for the project assessment.
Webequie First Nation has proposed a Bulk Fuel Storage Upgrades Project at the community's nursing station. The existing bulk fuel storage tank will be decomissioned and removed. Two (2) new outdoor bulk fuel storage (25,000 L) horizontal double walled tanks will be installed. The new outdoor storage tanks and transfer system will be connected to the existing supply and return lines and integrated into the existing indoor day tanks that service the nursing station. Design and construction have and will be completed to comply with TSSA requirements, CSA B139-19 Standards, ULC standards and The Storage Tank Systems For Petroleum and Allied Petroleum Products Regulations. The project is deemed necessary as the existing bulk fuel storage systems start to show evidences that could potentially lead to environmental hazards.
