Reconstruction of Marginal Wharf and Launchway at Blue Beach SCH, NL

The proposed project at Blue Beach SCH includes the demolition, removal, and replacement of the northwestern marginal wharf and launchway. These replacement structures will not be like-for-like replacements - they will expand upon the existing footprint, resulting in approximately 415 additional square meters for the new marginal wharf and an additional 103 square meters for the new launchway. Once completed, the new marginal wharf will be graded to ensure positive site drainage. In addition to the aforementioned work, the proposed project will include dredging the harbour basin. The proposed dredge area is approximately 4,511 square meters and is located in the northwestern corner of the basin, nearest the new marginal wharf. This dredge work will result in the removal of  approximately 1,500 cubic meters of dredge material.
