Cross Lake Band of Indians - Nikan Awasiska Agency Administration Office & Site Development

The new Nikan Awasisak Agency site is to be developed on the west side of Quarry Road in Cross Lake, MB to the south of the Health Centre, Women's Shelter and Egg Lake residential subdivision. The site is on virgin treed land which is to be cleared and grubbed in non-nesting season. The footprint of the office and workshop buildings will be excavated down to good bearing soils, to be confirmed by the geotechnical engineer of record. Excavated soil materials can remain within the community and used as required for backfilling, landscaping, etc.
