Cross Lake Band of Indians Women's Centre

Cross Lake is proposing to build a Women's Centre. The emergency shelter project consists of a single storey building with 6 total units. The total project building area is approximately 600 sq m and construction will include the building and parking areas.  Project activities include clearing and grubbing, the installation of access driveway/parking, construction of foundations, backfill and grading, utilities and services including sewer and water piping as well as power and communication lines.

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Indigenous Services Canada are considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
