Wapekeka Office Building Construction Project

Wapekeka First Nation is proposing the construction of a new office building of 7450 square feet. Physical activities and resulting physical works will include excavation and backfill, sewer and water installation, framing and finishing  with sump pits and pumps, framing and finishing wood framed with exterior siding, asphalt shingles, interior gypsum board, vinyl flooring, standard washroom and kitchen fixtures, HRVs, and electric forced air furnaces.  


Latest update

August 14, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until September 14, 2024 respecting that determination.
