Latvia - Adazi - Construction of a Permanent Commons Facility

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The proposed permanent Commons facility at Adazi Military Base in Latvia will support Canadian Armed Forces personnel and a broader multinational user base by replacing the temporary Commons. The project involves constructing a two-story facility, with a 2,000 m2 footprint, that consolidates retail, limited coffee service, administration, logistics, and support functions into one permanent building.

The project site is on previously developed land, where there is currently a 1500 m2 concrete pad and tent, a 315 m2 building, and a 360 m2 brick driveway.
