Expansion of Gravel Compound at Camp Ceri - Task Force Latvia (TFL), Ceri Military Base

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. This project consists of the execution of the work, the provision of materials and the labor necessary for the construction of a gravel pad of 0.5 hectares in size. Construction work will include, grubbing, stripping, levelling, and filling of areas, installation of French-drains and construction of a gravel pad. This space will serve as parking areas, vehicle storage and equipment.

The new compound will expand upon the immediately adjacent areas at the Ceri Military Base previously developed by DND Ceri Military Base Gravel Pads Compounds.


Latest update

February 25, 2025— The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
