Latvia - Adazi - Construction of a Munitions Workshop

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The project involves the construction of an Ammunition Workshop in the Adazi Training Area, Latvia. The project will occur in an undeveloped and unserviced area and will have a footprint of approximately 10,000 m2.


Latest update

July 21, 2026 - The Department of National Defence intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the Department of National Defence is inviting public comments until August 9, 2026 respecting that determination.
