Kwakiutl Outdoor Community Sports Field
The project involves the completion of an outdoor community sports field in Port Hardy, BC to increase access to recreation and social and mental well-being. Approximately 16,000 square metres of field land has already been cleared and prepared, with grading and general earthwork being completed. Final site/field preparations, grass turf and gravel track installations, and construction of seating, benches, soccer nets, lighting, portable irrigation, and all associated works have yet to be completed. The proponent in charge of this project is Kwakiutl First Nation.
