Construct a lined sludge dewatering area to the west of the existing lagoon cells, remove sludge from the 3 existing sewage lagoon cells and place sludge in the dewatering area, upgrade the existing sewage lagoon by installing a new aeration system in all 3 cells, construction of Submerged Attached Growth Reactor (SAGR) cells to the east for additional sewage treatment, investigation of the inflow and infiltration in the gravity sewer collection system.
Latest update
2021-10-26 – Infrastructure Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
