The new water treatment facility that will be 1,435 square meters, located on the southwest corner of the island. The project entails the construction of a new WTP building over top of a below ground concrete reservoir. Installation of a new raw water intake pipe into the Moose River, with a fish screen; a new raw water pumping chamber; a new watermain and service piping along TC Drive, and a new housing development on the northeast side of the community. An outdoor genset will be installed for the new WTP building and raw water pumping chamber.

A new raw water intake pipe will be installed from the shore, 125 m into the Moose River. The pipe will be installed by directional drilling and an outlet structure will be anchored into the river bed and attached to the end of pipe with a fish screen. This outlet structure will be supported and anchored into the river bed with a steel H-pile. There will be a second steel H-pile installed upflow of the fish screen to provide debris protection.
