Decommissioning of Cluff Lake Uranium Mine (Archived)

Description: COGEMA Resources Inc. has submitted a proposal to decommission the Cluff Lake Uranium Mining Facility in northwestern Saskatchewan.

Decision of the Minister of the Environment: On April 15, 2004, following a review of public comments and the environmental assessment report, The Honourable David Anderson, Minister of the Environment, today announced that the decommissioning of the Cluff Lake Uranium Mine and Mill facility in Saskatchewan does not require further assessment.
