Eskay Creek Revitalization Project
Skeena Resources Limited is proposing the construction, operation and closure of an open-pit gold and silver mine located approximately 85 kilometres northwest of Stewart, British Columbia. As proposed, the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project would produce up to three million tonnes of ore per year (a maximum of about 8,225 tonnes per day) during a 14-year mine life. This mine life would include a 2-year construction phase, 9-year operation phase, and 3-year reclamation and closure phase. The project is located on the same site as the underground Eskay Creek mine which is no longer operating and the proponent will make use of some of its existing facilities and infrastructure.
