Montems Delay

To Whom it May Concern, The request for an extension from Montem Resources to enable them more time to prepare is a complete ploy to delay any decision pertaining to their planned activities on Tent Mountain . I reside in the Crowsnest Pass and have been involved with the attempt of foreign companies demands to destroy our meagre watershed by extracting and mining mettalurgical coal. Montem has sat quietly in the sidelines while Riversdale Resources engaged with the Provincial and Federal government. The Alberta Energy Regulator(AER) came out clearly against Riversdale after a six year long engagement. Montem has already been told in no uncertain terms exactly the conditions and information required to present to the AER over a year ago. Unless Montem has it's head in the sand they definately know what is required in an application to mine in Alberta, and the necessary information a Federal Impact Assessment demands. Their ridiculous letter , and a complete disguise as an innocent first timer is a disgrace to the AER , our citizens and the Federal review process.
I highly recommend Montem Resources be told to submit their application within a week, that no further time be allowed them, and that a Federal review is required.
Thank you gor your time, Sincerely, Susan Douglas-Murray
