Castle Mine--Please establish an IAAC review panel

Dear Minister Wilkinson,

I believe that the federal government needs to establish an environmental review panel for the Castle Mine in southeastern British Columbia.

The coal industry seems to be ramping up activitiy in western Alberta and southeastern British Columbia and there are significant climate change, species at risk and water quality impacts that need to be evaluated.

As with other reviews, the process must be open, transparent, science-based and with opportunities for the public, including public interest groups, to have their say.
