Support for continued mining in the Elk Valley

As a resident of the Elk Valley, I support the Castle Project and the continuation of mining in our region. Our communities benefit greatly from coal mining in the region. I am employed by Teck and hold the view that responsible resource development is necessary for the success and prosperity of our world. The Castle Project can be developed while ensuring the water and environment in which our families live and play are protected. In my view, Teck holds values above and beyond what is required and should be allowed continue to responsibly mine in the area without the need for an additional level of review.
