  • Within the Terms of Reference, it is unclear as to how the review panel plans to consult Temagami First Nation, and how the Review Panel plans to consider the values and priorities of Temagami First Nation. Where the terms of reference lack detail, we view this as an opportunity for each individual first Nation to input their own consultation procedures and policies on sharing information about values and priorities. Consultation Procedures: Temagami First Nation’s detailed consultation procedure has four required steps – notice, screening, consultation, and implementation and monitoring. Commentaires sur la description du projet Le Collectif scientifique souligne l’importance de présenter le projet de pipeline comme appartenant à un projet plus vaste d’exportation de gaz naturel liquéfié sur les marchés internationaux. À cet égard, il est remarquable de constater que le libellé actuel de la description de projet inscrite au mandat de la commission (p. 3) décrit les différentes composantes industrielles auquel se rattache le projet de Gazoduq Inc., mais sans mentionner clairement leur finalité commune, soit l’exportation de gaz naturel à majorité non-conventionnel extrait de l’Ouest canadien.
