There is to much to lose buy allowing this type of mining development. Gold mines have a history of  long term damage from exposed tailing. Tax payers are paying for clean ups into the millions for many old mines why create more problems.

If this project is to be consided the Goverment needs to have the mining company to establish a fund or bond that would be held long into the future to pay for any damage that will be done to the enviroment and the West River. If such a fund is not put into place the mine should not be approved.

There is to much at risk and the tax payer should not have to be responsable for this risk so a company can make profits period.
