Woodfibre LNG Proposed Changes to Conditions 3.8 and 6.4

I am deeply concerned that Woodfibre’s proposed changes to both conditions 3.8 and 6.4 would defy recognized science on the potential adverse impacts of underwater noise and long-term water contamination.

There is a problematic history of industrial pollution and failure to clean up projects in Howe Sound.

Careful and reliable analysis has revealed serious problems with Woodfibre’s proposed changes; they would increase the adverse impact on wildlife and ecosystems.

As a UNESCO Biospere Region, our treasured Howe Sound, rich in biodiversity, must be protected with the highest of standards. I urge Minister Guilbeault not to accept these changes.
