Status: On July 8, 2011, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency received an acceptable project description and is now determining if a comprehensive study should commence.

About the Project: The proposed project consists of constructing, operating and eventually decommissioning an open pit gold mine (10 year mine life at a predicted extraction rate of 40,000 tonnes/day) and ore processing facility. The project mine site is located approximately 70 km northeast of the City of Williams Lake, British Columbia.
