Sheshegwaning Samson Edowishkosh Elementary School Construction - Public Comments Invited

August 23, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Sheshegwaning Samson Edowishkosh Elementary School Construction Project, located in the community of the Sheshegwaning First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

Sheshegwaning First Nation is proposing the construction of the Samson Edowishkosh Elementary School. The project will involve construction activities occuring on a wooded lot which will require the clearing of vegetation.
