Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation Office Complex – Public Comments Invited
August 15, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation Office Complex project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The project will include the construction of a 1599m2 building, and an approximately 1500m2 parking lot with 95 parking spaces. Activities include clearing, grubbing and grading of the project site; and construction of the building, including installation of concrete foundations, connection into community water and sewer systems and paving.
