Divert Water Runoff from Downspouts - Armco Building – Public Comments Invited
July 30, 2024 – The authorities must determine whether the proposed project to divert Water Runoff from Downspouts, located in Ottawa is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, the authorities are inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
Remove existing eavestrough and downspout and dispose. Remove affected asphalt and dispose. Remove existing underground soil and keep a side for backfill. Supply and install new rainwater drainage system. Supply and install new geotextile membrane. Supply and install new 0-3/4" crushed stone. Supply and install SDR35 4" piping and fitting. Supply and install new heat trace base on 5W/foot and power in the building for a maximum of 60 feet. Supply and install new 6" eavestrough with 3"x3" downspout and connect to the SDR piping. Backfill the ground soil back in place. Supply and install 2" of 12.5 Level B asphalt paving. Paint the parking line as original.
