Ebb and Flow First Nation Road and Drainage Upgrades – Public Comments Invited

June 24, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Ebb and Flow First Nation Road and Drainage Upgrades, located in Ebb and Flow First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

• Upgrade 6 existing community roads
• Construct new drainage ditching and swales along roads and re-grade existing ditching and swales
• Replace and install new culverts on upgraded road sections.
• Reconstruct driveaway approaches along upgrade road sections.
• Existing road surface will be re-graded and re-constructed with compacted subgrade and granular road base from local borrow pits.
• 75,000 sq.m.
