Development of four new streets in Kebaowek – Public Comments Invited
June 20th, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Extension of Amisk Street, located in Opitciwan is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The project is located in Kebaowek and involves the construction of four new streets to meet the community's housing needs. These include the construction of Kigong Crescent, Makwa Street and Monz Street, as well as the extension of Ogima Street, located to the north of the community.
