Normandin Heating System Project - Public Comments Invited

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is inviting public comments until July 13, 2024 respecting that determination.

All comments received will be considered public [and may be posted online].  For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

AAFC intends to update the heating system at the Normandin Research Farm located in Normandin, Québec. This project includes the removal and disposal of an aboveground storage tank greater than 5,000 L.
