Quebec – 2024-04-14 – The Port of Quebec ant Transport Canada have determined that the development project at pier 108 is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

This determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

• impacts on rights of Indigenous peoples;
• Indigenous knowledge;
• community knowledge;
• comments received from the public; and
• technically and economically feasible mitigation measures.

The mitigation measures considered for this determination are presented in Table 6.3 and Appendix 9.1 of the environmental effects assessment.
