Atikameksheng Anishnawbek Business Park – Public Comments Invited

April 3, 2024 Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Atikameksheng Anishnawbek Business Park, located Southwest of Sudbury, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation is proposing a Business Park Servicing and Lot Clearing Project in preparation for the development of the Chi Zhiingwaak Business Park. Project activities will occur on undeveloped land. The project will include earth excavation, clearing, grubbing, importing fill and site re-grading. Existing service lines (water, wastewater and electrical services) will be extended to 15 lots within the proposed business park
