The Proposed Project

New Fibre Installation

Bell Canada plans to install fiber optic cabling, for Internet purposes, to all in-scope residential homes in the regions of Curve Lake. The project involves the installation of approximately 8.76 km  of underground and aerial fiber optic cable along Curve Lake Rd, connecting to Mississauga St and branching west on Westview Rd where it will continue to the end, covering Westview Cres and connecting to Sunset Dr and Fire Rte 15.  Travelling south along Mississauga St, our planned fibre will connect Rollies Point Rd and Rollies Point Rd E as well as Murrayville Rd.

The cable will be buried by directional drilling, trenching, or using existing conduits, or a combination of these methods in existing roadway alignments, but will be suspended on support structures to connect to residential homes and businesses.
