Hydrogen Fueling Station – Public Comments Invited

July 25, 2023 – The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) must determine whether the proposed Installation of a Hydrogen Fueling Station Project at Toronto Pearson International Airport is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the GTAA is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project:

The project will facilitate the installation of a hydrogen fueling station on airport lands for light and heavy-duty airport vehicles as well as privately owned vehicles. Project works include, a canopy structure and fenced in area and installation of equipment pads/footings for dispenser, chiller, storage and compressor.  Associated underground electrical service connection to the local utility, minor concrete removal, excavations and repaving will also occur.
