Notice of Time Limit Suspension with Reasons

Ottawa — July 13, 2023 — On July 10, 2023, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) suspended the 90-day time limit within which the Minister of Environment and Climate Change must respond, with reasons, to the request for designation of the Smoky River Wind Project proposed by ABO Wind Canada Ltd. (the proponent).

The Agency has taken this action in consideration of a written request from the proponent that the time limit be suspended in order to address information requested by the Agency.

When the proponent has provided the Agency with the information requested, the Agency will post a notice that the prescribed activity is completed and the 90-day time limit will resume.
