Etobicoke Creek Outfall Restoration – Public Comments Invited
June 21, 2023 – The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) must determine whether the proposed Etobicoke Creek Outfall Restoration Project at Toronto Pearson International Airport is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the GTAA is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. The Proposed Project
The purpose of this project is to restore the existing outlet channels of the storm water management facility to its intended design. The scope includes but not limited to install erosion protection downstream of an emergency spillway, the restoration of soil around sheet piles, installing rock riprap on channel bed and slopes, and confining flow within the sheet pile drops.
