March 8, 2023 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) must decide whether the Connected Coast fibre optic cable installation, within the Cape Scott Lightstation and within the Scott Island marine National Wildlife Area, is likely to cause significant adverse effects.

 

To help inform this decision, DFO and ECCC are inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website. Written comments must be submitted by April 8, 2023 to:
