White Lake Partial Wharf Removal – Public Comments Invited

January 24, 2023 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada must determine whether the proposed White Lake Partial Wharf Removal project, located on White Lake, ON is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Fisheries and Oceans Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

Fisheries and Oceans Canada's Small Craft Harbours (SCH) intends to remove a portion of the exisitng wharf at White Lake Small Craft Harbour. The end of the wharf has deteriorated over time and SCH intends to remove the end portion to maintain structure safety and integrity. This work includes removal of the existing concrete deck and steel components over an area of approximately 5.5m2.
