Notice of Time Limit Extension

Ottawa — January 5, 2023 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) granted an extension to the three-year time limit for Webequie First Nation (the proponent) to provide the required information or studies set out in the notice of commencement of the impact assessment of the Webequie Supply Road Project.

The Agency has taken this action further to a written request from the proponent that the time limit be extended by three years and ten and a half months. The reasons for the Agency's determination are provided in its response to the proponent.

The new deadline for the proponent to provide the required information and studies described in the notice of commencement of the impact assessment is January 6, 2027.
