Notice of Time Limit Suspension with Reasons

Ottawa — April 1, 2022 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) has suspended the 90-day time limit within which the Minister must respond, with reasons, to the request for designation of the Northern Pulp Project, proposed by Northern Pulp Nova Scotia Corporation (the proponent).

The Agency has taken this action further to a written request from the proponent that the time limit be suspended in order that the proponent have sufficient time to address the information request from the Agency.

Once the proponent has provided the Agency with the information requested, the Agency will post a notice that the prescribed activity is complete and the 90-day time limit will resume.
