Extension of the Time Limit for Decision-Making

March 4, 2022 — The Governor in Council, under subsection 27(4) of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012, has extended the time limit by 40 days, for the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to decide whether the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. The Minister will take into account the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada's Environmental Assessment Report in making these decisions.
