Notice of Determination

Atomic Energy of Canada (AECL) has determined that the proposed Project Douglas Point Waste Facility Infrastructure Decommissioning at AECL's Douglas Point site in Tiverton, ON, is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. Potential environmental effects will be managed through technically and economically feasible mitigation measures and implemented for the following: air, water, and soil.

As the federal authority Atomic Energy of Canada gives permission to Canadian Nuclear Laboratories to carry out the project, exercise any power, perform any duty or function, or provide financial assistance to enable the project to be carried out in whole or in part.
