Saddle Lake Cree Nation 9A Road Saddle Lake Creek Culvert Replacement Project – Public Comments Invited

January 28, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Saddle Lake Cree Nation 9A Road Saddle Lake Creek Culvert Replacement Project located in Saddle Lake Cree Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

The proposed project will involve the replacement of 4 existing 900mm culverts with 2 new 1800mm culverts at the Saddle Lake Creek crossing along the 9A avenue road. The replacement of these culverts will prevent road flooding during high streamflow events.
