Construction of a Fire Fighting Foam Retention System – 3 Wing Canadian Forces Base Bagotville

November 6, 2020 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

This project consists of work execution, labor, materials/supplies and tools needed for the construction of a fire fighting foam retention system. Work includes but is not limited to the installation of an underground reservoir and modifications of already existing rainstorm pipes. Excavation is planned and soil will be disposed off site.
