Notice of intent to make a determination

Blood Tribe Public Works Building– Public Comments Invited

January 17, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Blood Tribe Public Works Building Project located on Blood #148 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

Blood Tribe is proposing a new Public Works Building (23,000 ft²). The building plan has two floor level office sections (9,000 ft²) and a 10 bay maintenance shop section (14,000 ft²). The project also includes the construction of a parking lot with perimeter fencing and access gates.
