Electric manhole demolition on Canadian Forces Base Bagotville

October 31, 2019 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project to demolish electric manholes on Canadian Forces Base Bagotville is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project-Electric manhole demolition on Canadian Forces Base Bagotville

This project consists of work execution, labour, materials/supplies and tools needed for the demolition of four electric manholes located at the airport.

The work includes but is not limited to, demolition and disposal of concrete waste from the manholes, excavation on nearby soil and filling of the openings created by the old structure. The soil will be put back in its original location/excavation.
